Admission to the Institute begins after the declaration of the HSLC/HSSLC results. The Directorate of Technical Education issues a formal notification through advertisements in local newspapers announcing for the admission . 

For Diploma in Interior Design, interested candidates can either:

1. Download the form and prospectus, submit the completed application along with necessary documents to the Directorate of Technical Education.

2. Apply for spot admission directly at the Directorate of Technical Education, Nagaland-Kohima.
